“A sustainable building maximizes operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts” (USBGC).
Organizations that have a reputation for excellent workplace environments reap great benefits in productivity, public image, and ability to attract quality personnel.
The certification application for LEED EB: Operations and Maintenance must provide data demonstrating that the building’s operations meet the LEED prerequisites and attempted credits. IAP can provide turn-key documentation that energy-efficient strategies are maintained (click here for sample Aircuity report).
IAP can implement monitoring, documentation, and consulting services that can help claim 4 Prerequisites and all or part of 14 points for LEED EB, specifically for Energy and Atmosphere (EA) and Indoor Environmental Quality (EQ). In addition, monitoring, IAQ Management Plans and Air Testing services can be provided to claim points for LEED NC and LEED CI.
IAP can provide improvement services such as HVAC / ductwork system cleaning and sealing of leaky ductwork that can earn credits for both EQ and EQ.
